How We Do It
Safety Certifications
AIRTEC is committed to doing business with the highest safety, security, quality, and performance standards and regulations in aviation and defense. We deliver world-class solutions that continually exceed customer expectations.

FAA Approved Part 145 Aircraft Repair Station
Our Part 145 certification is in progress of expansion and will enhance our capabilities by playing a critical role in maintaining the safety and airworthiness of aircraft.
FAA Approved Part 91 Operations
Part 91 offers flexibility, but safety remains paramount. Pilots and operators must adhere to regulations to ensure safe and efficient flights.
FAA Certified Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanics (with IA)
Certification demonstrates that the mechanic possesses the knowledge, experience, and skills to inspect various aircraft, as well as perform and supervise maintenance operations. Some of our certified A&P Mechanics also have and advanced Inspection Authorization (IA) certification.
FAA Part 91 Equipment Safety Inspections
Under our FAA Approved Part 91 Operations, AIRTEC is certified to perform FAR 91.411 and FAR 91.413 inspections. FAR 91.411 requires periodic testing and inspection of the aircraft’s altimeter system and altitude reporting equipment to ensure it is accurate, while FAR 91.413 requires periodic testing and inspection of the aircraft’s transponder system. These regulations, applicable to aircraft operating under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR), are crucial for safety by guaranteeing reliable altitude data for both pilots and Air Traffic Control (ATC). The tests verify the integrity of the pitot static system and the altitude encoder, which provides the altitude information to the transponder.
Our highly skilled A&P Mechanics have earned this certification, allowing them to do inspections on a large variety of airframes, including drones. Currently, there are over 85 types of platforms that we can inspect, everything from Cessna, Beechcraft, Cirrus, Mooney, Piper, and the latest Edge Autonomy drones. More can be added with Flight Standards District Office (FSDO) approval so we can essentially inspect the altimeter, altitude reporting, and transponder systems of anything that flies.
Safety is our number one company core value and our top priority. We have been doing these pitot-static system safety inspections for more than a decade and can perform inspections for government organizations, educational institutions, scientific agencies, industry partners, and private owners.
