Recently, one of our contract teams underwent a comprehensive inspection of mission operations at a forward-deployed site outside the continental United States (OCONUS). The team delivers mission-critical aviation Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) services within a U.S. Government Partner Nation program. The program includes our Contractor-Owned, Contractor-Operated (COCO) aircraft, highly trained rotational staff (Pilots, Sensor Operators, A&P Mechanics, etc.), and specialized mission equipment. It also includes management of program quality and compliance, ground and flight safety, and storage and logistics for complex operational requirements.

Flight operations, ground operations, and safety programs were assessed by a Government Representative, and it was determined that the contract workforce is fully staffed, trained, and has the equipment required to execute and complete the mission. These inspections provide an essential oversight function for forward-deployed aviation programs. They evaluate compliance with approved procedures, aircrew qualifications, maintenance practices, operational risk management, and flight regulations to ensure safe and effective mission execution. The reviews also verify adherence to contractual requirements, identify potential areas for improvement, and promote continuous operational readiness by ensuring that flight operations and maintenance activities remain aligned with established government aviation safety standards.

During this inspection, all areas were highly rated with no issues or concerns to report. This successful assessment recognizes the excellence, professionalism, and strong safety culture of the deployed team; demonstrating their commitment to maintaining rigorous standards and mission readiness.
